Join the Stage Musical Theatre Academy for a fun packed Film and TV Camp IN PERSON where their newly found love of working on camera will help them refine their on-camera acting skills while preparing for an exclusive on-camera casting session on the final day. This camp is an excellent introduction or refresher for students looking to move from the stage to the screen. They will experience industry standard scripts to work on proper audition technique and etiquette (incredible skill for SO many life situations!) . BONUS! . This week will also include a mini head shot session and a mock casting session with guest actress/producer Kimi Alexander (My Husband’s Deadly Past, Supernatural, Tribal, Charmed) We are so pleased to bring in another industry professional to work with our students! . Have fun all week long with their Silver Linings, Silver Screens Film and TV Summer Camp (running August 4th – 7th), where kids can refine their on-camera acting skills while preparing for an exclusive on-camera casting session on the final day! New West Family Place 

For those who are looking for at-home entertainment for the little ones, New West Family Place is streaming “Circle Time” on Facebook Live Monday to Friday at 11 am and 3 pm! Looking for ways to keep little ones active? Check out their Wednesday mornings “Movin Times” streams or tune in on Thursday mornings for kids yoga. For more details visit their website


Fraser River Discovery Centre

The Fraser River Discovery Centre is now open! Drop-in for a day of fun along the Fraser, or sign up for one of their week-long, in-person summer camps. Learn more about the flora and fauna of the Fraser River through games and hands-on activities during their Wonders of the Watershed and Science of the Fraser camps. Class sizes are limited to 10 participants and extra sanitation measures have been implemented to help keep everyone safe. Click here for more information.

New West Parks & Pools

Skate Parks & Bike parks 

Skateboarders and bikers of all skill levels will love the skate park in Queensborough (located right next to the Queensborough Community centre) and the hidden bike track (a short ride away, located under the overpass near S. Dyke Rd. and Boundary Rd.). With tons of space and a variety of different ramps, these parks are the perfect place for practicing your skills!
