Tourism New West Approved Ultimate Cultural Crawl Route

Tourism New West, the Arts Council of New West, and the Downtown New West BIA have teamed up on this exciting collaboration to discover the ultimate route for the 14th annual Cultural Crawl! This two day all inclusive route not only includes all 37+ Cultural Crawl exhibits and galleries, but public art pieces, local attractions, and personal anecdotes from some of New West’s summer ambassadors. If you’re feeling brave join Cultural Crawl Coordinator Howard Dai on this exciting two-day quest, or use it as a guide for creating your own unique route! Oh, and the best part is it’s all accessible on foot or by public transit. Happy crawling!

Next to Quayside dock #22 Debra McKenzie on Samson V Museum-The Samson V, launched in 1937, is the last surviving wooden steam-powered sternwheeler built for use as a snag-boat on the Fraser River. Debra McKenize’s practice primarily consists of mixed media sculptures and two-dimensional drawings and paintings of her explorations of nature, texture, and emotions.
