Owl Prowl at the FRDC!

October 31, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

This month, Super Saturday returns with a spooky twist!

Did you know that the Fraser Watershed is home to a wide variety of owl species? We don’t see these nocturnal hunters very often, but they play a critical role in maintaining the health and balance of our riverside ecosystems by controlling rodent and bird populations.

This Halloween, let’s celebrate our nocturnal feathered friends with some fiendishly fascinating facts about some of the owls that live in the Fraser Basin, decorate a pumpkin into the coolest owl in town, create a personalized Halloween goodie bag and learn how you can create some tasty treats for the Fraser’s birds that you can hang up outside your home! All ages welcome, and costumes are encouraged!

Please note that the Centre is observing strict safety guidelines in light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, so pre-registration is required. Please visit our website for more information on how to register.
