“Fractures” A powerful exploration of Breaking & Becoming, is showing to the Anvil Center  April 1 – May 28th! 

Five Latin American artists—Hijas Del Sol—share their stories of transformation after life’s fractures. Through printmaking, painting, photography, and collage, they navigate the pain of rupture and the beauty of rediscovery.

The exhibition portrays the compelling stories of the artists in their process of rediscovery after an internal fracture. Their lives are not the same after than they were before, and the process of healing is gradual. Yet, after every painful experience, each artist has recreated herself at the crossroads of new realities, new land, or a new identity.
