Three works define the exhibition.  Here the word gyre refers to a commonality of movement ; a series of geometric or visual progressions; for example the way light can be used to suggest a telescoping path in time, or a descent to unknown depths.  What characterizes all the works is the hypnotic and uncertain apprehension of time, space, size and direction.  They upend you.  In each, the body of the viewer becomes a critical part of how we visualize and create meaning;…
