River Basin Days: Summer Solstice Surprise
Event Details
Event Details
River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs for families. Join us at different locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed! Our staff will guide you through one hour of activities, experiments, and art projects as we learn about the biodiversity of this great river.
The Sun is essential for life on Earth, providing the energy necessary for photosynthesis, regulating climate, and sustaining ecosystems around the Fraser River! Learn about when the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky by making a sundial and creating nature sun prints! This month, we are headed to Deas Island Regional Park, located in Delta, to learn all about the power of the Sun during the summer solstice!
This event will take place rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather.
