Westminster Pier Park
Right across the street from Columbia Skytrain Station is the popular Westminster Pier Park overlooking the Fraser River. This park is easily accessible for those driving as well, offering lots of available pay parking. Have you ever looked out the Skytrain to a sign saying “New Westminster Welcomes You” and wondered where that was? That’s Grimston Park! Only a 10-minute walk from 22nd Street Station, Grimston Park is a lovely park with a baseball field, a playground, a waterpark, and lots of picnic tables for you to enjoy a nice picnic on a sunny day.
