Restore power to a vault, escape wonderland, and find Becky…
It’s no secret that escape rooms are all the rage these days, but did you know we have one of our own right here in New West?! Pandora’s Locks is located on Columbia Street and has been growing in popularity. They offer up interactive, exciting, and challenging rooms for you and a group of friends, family, or coworkers to attempt an escape from. Here is our list of reasons to add this to your places to visit!
1) Three different room themes!
Pandora’s Locks’ rooms are creatively designed to stand out and be unique from one another. Their premier room, ‘Vault 405’ exists in a post-apocalyptic world, and its up to you and your team to restore power to the vault before its too late. They also have a room called ‘Escape Wonderland’, themed after the adventures of Alice. Lastly, they have ‘Where’s Becky’. Designed to look like the 1980’s, it’s up to you to find your missing friend before time runs out.
2) Excellent puzzle design!
Each room has a well-written story, creating engaging and interactive content that makes you want to solve each puzzle. Pandora’s Locks has found the balance between difficult puzzles that make you think, while keeping them fair. One piece of advice, stay calm, because teamwork will set apart the groups that escape or stay trapped!
3) Great staff!
Unlike other escape rooms, Pandora’s Locks doesn’t penalize you or limit your hints. If you’re stuck or think you’ve made a mistake, you can push a button to call a staff member to your room. They are great at giving just enough of a clue to point your team in the right direction, without giving it away.
4) Pandora’s Locks is located right by the SkyTrain!
You don’t need a car to attempt an escape from these rooms. Just steps away from Columbia SkyTrain Station, Pandora’s Locks’ central location makes it easy for both locals and visitors alike to enjoy.
