SPRING DISCOVERY DAYS

Join us for Spring Discovery Days, where each week brings exciting, hands-on programs for all ages!

March 15 to 22: Explore the world of predator and prey with a fun skull-matching game, a captivating predator storytime, and a unique prey photo booth where you can pose with props and snap a fun photo as your favourite prey animal!

March 23 to 30: Dive into the wonders of pollinators and plants with an exciting pollinator race and an engaging storytime about gardening and vegetable planting, along with a self-guided pollinator and plant match-up game available throughout the day.

Splash into self-guided activities throughout the building, a facilitated activity from 10am-12pm, and a storytime from 1pm-3pm.

WHAT: 

• March 15 to 22: Learn more about the predator/prey relationship with a skull-matching game
• March 23 to 30: Engage in an exciting pollinator race to know more about pollinators and plants
• Enjoy a storytime followed by a hands-on activity during both weeks

WHEN: March 15th – 30th, 10:00am – 4:00pm 

• Facilitated Activities: 10:00am – 12:00pm 
  • March 15th – 22nd: Skull-matching game
  • March 23rd – 30th: Pollinator race
• Storytime: 1:00pm – 3:00pm 

WHERE: Fraser River Discovery Centre, 788 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC 

COST: Includes admission to the Discovery Centre. Specific costs are listed below: 

• Family Ticket ($20.00) – for 2 adults and up to 4 children
• Adult Ticket ($8.00) – adult 19 and older
• Senior Ticket ($6.00) – senior 65 and older
• Student Ticket ($6.00) – student ID required
• Child ticket ($5.00) – children aged 3-12
• Children 2 and under register for free

Caretakers are asked to remain with their children for the duration of their visit.
