Buzz about Bees Workshop with Kristen Penhall
Explore the amazing world of native bees! Learn how to identify common pollinators, why they are important, and what you can do to help them thrive. After a short pollinator walk, we will have a delicious honey tasting from the nectar of specific flowers.
About the Instructor
Kristen has been studying bees for over ten years. What started as an interest in honeybees grew into a love for native bees. This journey has led to taking many beekeeping courses and enrollment in the Master Melittologist program through Oregon State University. Outside of the bee world, Kristen can be found on a hobby farm, in the mountains with a partner, or most likely hanging out with a dog named Charlie.
