Event Details

River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs for families. Join us at different locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed! Our staff will guide you through one hour of activities as we learn about the biodiversity of this great river.

From the rustling of leaves to the softness of moss, and the call of birds, tuning in to the rhythms of the natural world connects our senses to the environment around us. Join us at Tynehead Regional Park to create a sound map, observe different textures in nature, and learn more about the ecosystem around us!

This event will take place rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather.

Registration cost includes admission to the Fraser River Discovery Centre. Pay when you register for this workshop, and the next time you visit the Centre in-person, you will be admitted for free.
