Summer Festivals and Concerts
Fridays on Front
It’s a block party and you’re invited! Fridays on Front are back this summer, running every Friday from July 7 to July 21 and August 11 to August 25, 2023. Located within walking distance of both Columbia and New Westminster SkyTrain Stations at Front Street Mews in Downtown New West, admission is free and the event is licensed and runs from 5 PM – 9 PM.
Fill up on delicious food from local vendors and food trucks, sip on local wine from Pacific Breeze Winery and brews from Steel & Oak, browse the stalls of the Mini artisan market by New West Craft, enjoy live musical performances. Here’s a glance at the schedule:

Queen’s Park Concert Series
It’s a party in the park, so bring your friends and family and enjoy summer weather and listen to a variety of styles of live music in one of New West’s most scenic outdoor spaces. Presented by Arts New West, the Queens Park Concert Series features live musical performances from Big Fuzz (rock), the eclectic pop stylings of Ricardo and bedroom pop duo Not Sisters. To close out the series, Shadows and Dreams Theatre presents As You Like It on July 29th and 30th.
The Queen’s Park Concert Series takes place Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 2 pm until July 30, 2023.

TD Uptown Live Street Party
Party all day long at the TD Uptown Live Street Party! Rocking the streets of New Westminster, the Uptown Live Street Party features a full schedule of live music on multiple stages, showcasing local artists in a multitude of musical styles. When you need a break from getting your groove on, there are also interactive exhibits, local artisans, and tasty food trucks to check out.
Admission is free, and the music doesn’t stop from 12 PM – 8 PM.
Take it to the Limit–An Eagles Tribute
Take a break from the summer heat and step inside the cool interior of Massey Theatre for a night of classic rock n’ roll. Moon Coin Productions present Take It To The Limit–an Eagles tribute concert with rave reviews. Featuring top Canadian musicians and vocalists, performing your favourite Eagles hits for one night only, from Life In The Fast Lane to Tequila Sunrise. Tickets available via website, July 20th, 2023.
Car Free Day
Car Free Day New West presented by TransLink, is back this summer, taking over Columbia Street with food, fun and live performances this July 29th, 2023.
