Our First New Westminster Cafe Location is Open
Our first location in New Westminster is ready to open its doors! Specifically, JJ Bean Uptown proudly joins New West’s vibrant and walkable community on the corner of 6th St. and Seventh Ave. Consequently, a spoil of gorgeous parks and a rich arts and culture scene surround this new New Westminster cafe.
We intentionally craft every JJ Bean location to honour each neighbourhood we serve. For example, our Uptown cafe pays homage to the design heritage of New Westminster. In addition, it celebrates the family roots and memories created here.
Designing a Space for the Community
The space features a gorgeous and welcoming interior with heritage-inspired royal-blue tile, warm wood, and cozy lighting. Furthermore, we designed this New Westminster cafe with plenty of room to sit, sip, nosh, and mingle. Therefore, it will quickly become a new cornerstone of community and coffee in the area.
A Personal Connection to New West
Here’s what JJ himself, John Neate has to say about it: “This opening is special for me personally, because I grew up with lots of friends and family in New West. So the city already feels like part of the JJ Bean family.”
Indeed, now it’s official! You can swing by this New Westminster cafe for a traditional cappuccino and a fresh-baked all-butter croissant. Alternatively, you can drink up with a mug of drip coffee and one of our new summer donuts.
