This November, join us at Eighth & Eight Creative Spaces for a four-day celebration of creativity, culture, and community at our Performing Arts & Technology Festival. Immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere where music, animation, dance, and film collide to create unforgettable experiences for all ages!

We are excited to welcome back Kid Koala, this time with his live multi-disciplinary stage adaption of his own graphic novel, Nufonia Must Fall, on stage at the Massey Theatre. Additionally, join Kid Koala for three other fun events in our studios: Music To Draw To, a chance to work on your creative projects alongside a set of some of Kid Koala’s favourite quiet-time records; a board-game event featuring Kid Koala and his Creatures of the Late Afternoon Board Game; and a Robot Dance Party for our youngest audience members!

Also, unleash your creativity and learn new skills in animation workshops with Jeff Chiba Stearns, participate in street dance workshops with Battle Zone Canada, and write music for film with composer Cameron Catalano. Learn about the passions of others by attending PechaKucha New West, and more!
