Event Details
Taking place on the last Saturday of each month, Super Weekend is a series of public programs geared toward families. There are lots of activities that explore different features of the Fraser River, from its booming industry to its diverse ecosystem!
The Fraser Valley is full of fertile farms and fabulous foods, many of which have the Fraser River to thank! Join us from August 24th – 25th to learn about sustainable Indigenous fishing practices* and how the mighty Fraser makes growing food possible!
*This activity draws from information found in the Our Bones are Made of Salmon exhibit, created in partnership with Musqueam Elder Larry Grant and Stó:lō Cultural Advisor Dr. Sonny McHalsie.
