Event Details

River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs for families. Join us at different locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed! Our staff will guide you through one hour of activities, experiments, and art projects as we learn about the biodiversity of this great river.

From seed to stump, trees go through a long and rooted journey to grow tall! This month, we are headed to Tynehead Regional Park, located in Surrey, to identify different trees found around the Fraser River, learn how to age a tree, and act out the lifecycle of a tree through an interactive story!

This program is free of charge as part of Surrey’s Environmental Extravaganza.
