Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo

This year’s VRGE promises to be an unforgettable experience for retro gaming enthusiasts. Attendees can expect to:

– Shop a variety of vendors with games, art, and collectibles.
– Learn about retro computing and gaming history.
– Enjoy video game musical acts on our main stage.
– Attend panels with Brad Hodge (Tech Time Traveller), John Hancock, The Fictionals, and many more.
– Tournaments and e-sports gaming from Tetris to Smash Bros.
– Photo ops with mascots.

This year VRGE is excited to announce a stellar lineup of music acts (our biggest ever) that will transport you back to the golden age of gaming. Attendees can expect to hear chiptunes, classic video game soundtracks, and other retro-inspired music, from missingNo, Freaky DNA, The Wavebirds, The Koopa Troopas, ROM-hack, Pongball, Lena Raine, and dannyBstyle.

VRGE is also proud to host The Chilliwack Retro Computing Club, showcasing their collections of vintage computers and consoles. Their members will be on hand to answer questions and share their passion for retro computing in a big way, as well as hosting numerous panels on the TRS-80, NABU Computers, and the keynote.
