Fridays on Front Returns to New Westminster with Food, Music & Summer Fun

Get ready, New West—Fridays On Front is back and better than ever! Starting July 10, Front Street Mews will transform into the ultimate summer street party on six Friday nights through August 21, 2026. Produced by the Downtown New West BIA, this free, family-friendly event brings the community together with live music, delicious eats, drinks, artisan vendors, and all the good vibes you need to kick off your weekend.

Taking over Front Street on six Friday evenings throughout July and August, this free summer street festival transforms the city’s historic waterfront into one of Metro Vancouver’s most exciting events. From 6-10pm, visitors can enjoy live music, cultural performances, delicious eats from local restaurants and food vendors, artisan markets, family-friendly activities, and interactive experiences that showcase the creativity and diversity of New Westminster.

No two Fridays are the same. Each event features its own unique theme, bringing fresh entertainment, community partners, and experiences to every visit. In 2026, festival-goers can celebrate Filipino Night, Game Night, Car-Free Day, Latin Night, PRIDE Night, and Indigenous Night, with each evening offering its own flavour, performances, and can’t-miss moments.

Whether you’re planning a summer date night, a family outing, or looking for an unforgettable evening with friends, Fridays On Front is the perfect excuse to explore New Westminster, support local businesses, and experience one of Metro Vancouver’s favourite summer traditions.
